Paul Fenn Explained

Paul writes for ad agencies, design firms, web and film production companies generating ideas and campaigns for print, television, radio, viral, film and online applications. He has worked in every imaginable brand category from consumer to financial to industrial in North America and Asia.

Paul’s copywriting career began in Singapore in 1993, where he worked freelance with agencies such as Euro RSCG, BBDO, O&M, DDB, DMB&B, Grey, Y&R and various graphic design shops.

Since returning to his hometown of Toronto in 1999, Paul has created award-winning and award-defying ad campaigns and branding initiatives for clients such as Apple, Molson, Labatt, Smirnoff, B&G Wines, Wonder Bread, Visa, TD Waterhouse, Altamira Securities, Scotiabank, BMO, Kia Motors, Mercury Marine, Lotto 6/49, Nike, Enwave, World Business Forum, Manitoba Tourism, Gov’t of Canada, OurStage.com and Verity Club.

His work with big brands notwithstanding, Paul’s greatest satisfaction comes from helping small, or unknown brands launch and make huge impacts, using a devious mix of ideas, media and approach.

Paul is a committed mountain biker and finally learned to surf in Bali in January 2007.

He lives with his wife and 12-year-old stepdaughter in midtown Toronto.
